Autumn 08 ~ The latest from me is that I've been really enjoying promoting the 20 books on the Doncaster Book Award long list and am looking forward to the first week of December when I'll be working in Northern Ireland for a week, running workshops in and around the Bangor area. Booked Up was fabulous this year and with the Carnegie long list just out, I'm also looking forward to tucking into some great reads there.

Anything goes if you're looking to organise a workshop, but currently the widest appeal might be for a day of activities related to the Booked Up initiative - your books will have either arrived or be coming soon and I can help to encourage swapping and wider reading. Other than that I'll be out there working on fiction & drama days for The Doncaster Book Award, The Salford Children's Book Award and Doncaster's Boys Into Books initiative. I'm also available for writing-based days.
